The Yokogawa 30032A mini digital clamp meter is an average-sensing, auto-ranging multimeter for measuring AC leakage current in electrical testing applications. It has a clamp that measures AC current leakage to 60 amp. The clamp has two jaws that can close around an electrical conductor up to 40mm in diameter to measure current without touching or interrupting the circuit. To check the insulation of low-voltage circuits and electrical components, it can measure leakage currents of 1 milliAmp. A filter for frequencies over 60Hz removes the harmonic component to measure the fundamental frequency of the leakage current. It meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standards 61010-1 and 61010-2-032, and it is rated for CAT III installations to 600V, which covers items used with enclosed building circuit installations, such as service panel parts, branch circuits, and fixed installations that are connected directly to a building's AC power supply.
